It will be interesting to see if long term they do what US Central Command did by merging the 5th Fleet Amphib Task Force (CTF 51, a 1 star admiral's job) with the Marine Forces Central's Deputy Commander's job, in effect making that Marine 1 star an Admiral and defacto MEB. If it is just a command element I think that is a much better system than trying to balance 3 commands over 5, technically 6 CoComs.
