USMC Amphibious Landing with Filipino Forces...

I knew about the exercise but had dismissed it.  After seeing pics of those AAVs I think I might need to take another look-see.

Where did they get those amphibs from?  Looks like they came straight off an MPS ship.  I wonder.  Are concepts being tested on the sly?

Sidenote:  I just took another look at this vid and something is different about those AAVs.  They look almost brand new.  Shiny paint, no weathering at all to speak of, no scuffs from hitting rocks or dents from bumping other vehicles or the inside of the ship.....  They pulled these bad boys from storage...I'd almost bet a body part.
