CH-53K ILA Berlin Flight Demo Pics...

Note:  I really get the impression that this one demonstration really has they German Air Force salivating over the K.  Between what I gather was a well received flight demo and then Marine Corps Officers selling the bird, I just don't see how Boeing's approach of trying to gather industry partners will win out over the dynamo/monstrosity that is the Lockheed Martin (tarnished as it is)/Sikorsky (still viewed by some as independent and still doing good work)/Rheinmetall (German thru and thru and a huge European defense firm) that's they're up against.  Pics below.
