Ya know what I'd like to see but it's probably batshit crazy?  Could you take the missile 'box' from an MLRS and somehow rig it to shoot from the ground so that you could take it to location A by helo, set it up, getting firing coordinates (from a module or even laptop rigged for it) and fire off missiles instead of trying to do the same with cannons?

Even if it's just the six pack mounted on FMTVs, it would still be a much more effective artillery raid then flying in a couple of tubes to shoot 4 or 5 shells then have to try and tout it all out before counter battery catches ya...
