Did anyone think Russia would give up on Assad?
Did anyone think Iran would withdraw?
Did anyone think ISIS could be exterminated?
Did anyone think Kurdistan could be "secured?"
That's it in a nutshell boys and girls. We committed forces with no idea of what a desired end state would be...correction we had NO REASONABLE, PROBABLE and ACCOMPLISHABLE end state in mind!
We could stay another 50 years and nothing would be accomplished.
You gotta know when to hold 'em, know when to fold'em....know when to walk away, know when to run....
Kenny Rogers told you everything you need to know about our current foreign policy. Maybe we should put him in charge of it...
