Think Defense posted these pics but I don't know the story...



Recurring concerns with regard to the ACV are contained in the pics above.  Funny thing?  Spain's Marines operate both Piranha IIIs and AAVs in the amphibious assault role....did we study their operations before making this move?

I know.

I'm spinning like a top on this issue.

I want to trust but every couple of months we see a variation on the theme above.

HQMC is saying that the ACV has the mobility to keep up with an Abrams across broken terrain.  That it won't get stuck on the beach.

But that pic you see above.  The soil doesn't even appear to be bad either!
