My view and only my view. Once a dude decides the fight is on then you don't have the chance to de-escalate. If you do then you go home in a body bag or to the hospital if you're lucky. Once the fight is on the fight is on. Subdue him and cuff him. Just that simple. I don't know what the hell the Brit cops were doing here but that rates a fail if I were grading.A combative subject who tries head butting an officer and is not adequately restrained.
