Navy EOD boards the bird.

 Note.  I never have figured out there status.  I'm not talking about "official" status, I mean status in the pecking order.  They're always around Special Ops.  They dress, get funding and travel like they're Special Ops.  They'll sometimes hang around conventionals but not often.  Are they Special Ops or not?

INDIAN OCEAN (Sept. 19, 2021) - Sailors assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit (EODMU) 5, attached to Commander, Task Force (CTF) 70, board an MH-60S Seahawk, attached to the “Golden Falcons” of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 12, to conduct fast-rope evolutions on the flight deck of the Navy’s only forward-deployed aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). Ronald Reagan, the flagship of Carrier Strike Group 5, provides a combat-ready force that protects and defends the United States, and supports alliances, partnerships and collective maritime interests in the Indo-Pacific region.
