 3d Assault Amphibian Battalion practiced loading and offloading the recently-fielded amphibious combat vehicle (ACV) from amphibious dock landing ship USS Anchorage (LPD 23) at @navalbasesd. These actions were part of a multi-day pier side strategic mobility exercise (STRATMOBEX) focused on transport capabilities between the Marine Corps and @usnavy to ultimately refine tactics and doctrine for #amphibious operations. ​
