This is a bit weird. Scenarios I've seen for war in Europe always had Soviet frontline forces blasting holes and follow on forces flowing thru and fanning out to create havoc. This is lining up to be a repeat of those predictions. Russia could launch an attack and have those reinforcement flowing forward to exploit any gaps to basically own Ukraine. From garrison, a drive and straight into battle. The conditions are being set.

Our forward deployed forces seem to be having NO deterrent effect.
