Spare me the talk of the KF-41. That monstrosity is making its sales by parting out "home country" manufacturing. That's another reason why the S. Korean products are gaining traction. Everyone wants to build their own military gear in their own country. You arrange a contract where you get that and you win. That new Patria 6x6 that came out of nowhere and is damn near the European standard in that arena? Look at the contracts and where they're built.
Move onto the CV90. The Brits know its better than the dawg they're trying to piece together. Hell so is the KF41 so why did they go with the ASCOD? Because they were able to arrange the contract so that it would look home built.
Don't believe me? Their Defense Minister was quoted and stating that if they have a mailbox in the UK then they're a UK defense corporation!
The CV90 is the best on that continent. The only thing the CV90 can't defeat is the contracts that are being signed.
