U.S. Marines with 4th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division conduct a Mission Master Silent Partner aerial lift rehearsal on a CH-53E Super Stallion with Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron (HMH) 466 on Camp Schwab, Okinawa, Japan, Jan. 12, 2026. This training iteration was the first time an unmanned ground vehicle was validated for aerial lift via CH-53E Super Stallion on Okinawa, proving a new option for how to move and deploy this unmanned ground vehicle platform within the First Island Chain.
