Ukrainian unmanned ground vehicle (AI powered) refused orders to retreat, held the line and allowed infantry to seize ground

A Ukrainian AI-powered ground combat vehicle near Lyman refused to abandon its forward defensive position and continued engaging enemy forces, despite receiving multiple orders to return to its company in order to preserve its hardware.

A damn near miraculous outcome but unsettling nonetheless. AI disregarded human instructions, somehow decided that it needed to hold ground and did, which led to infantry (humans) to seize ground.

Awesome right until you realize that they essentially lost control of the robot.

Implications?  Yeah.  A shit ton of implications.  The first that is downright shocking to me is that "man in the loop" ain't gonna be enough unless we can properly control (to include muzzle if necessary) the good guy robots.
