I wonder why we didn't either include the Army in what the Marine Corps was building or why we didn't wait for them to go first. Same requirement, same vehicle but two different systems. The weirdest thing? The JLTV already has a deep fording kit built for it so since the vehicles are the same there was no need for different systems. This is low hanging fruit to gain some savings in the DOW.A U.S. Army Mobile-Low, Slow, small unmanned aircraft Integrated Defeat System, or M-LIDS is positioned on a training area during a civilian one-way attack drone demonstration on Jan. 29, 2026, at Fort Hood, Texas.
