Everyone is saying that its Netanyahu but is it really the Saudis? Are we seeing a low key fight between the Shia & Sunnis?

What if we're all wrong? What if this is about Israel pushing the war but instead the Gulf States? What if this is actually a proxy war between the Shia & Sunnis? I thought of it as a sideshow of the discussions/diplomacy. This isn't the first time that the Saudis have pushed for the war to continue.
