U.S. Army Reveals First Designs of Two XM30 AI Infantry Fighting Vehicle Candidates Replacing Bradley

I don't know. The Lynx seems so freaking big. No commonality with the AMPV that's just entered service and is production now. I'm biased but just should have Americanized the CV90 and be done with it. Could have had a fighting vehicle and apc all in one (turreted and non turreted versions). I wonder if this was more about the industrial base than practicality.  At this point if its about practicality then the GDLS system wins easily.  The amazing thing to me about this whole thing?  In the age of drones, hell even before that, you have IFVs with much bigger profiles than tanks.  There is something wrong with that.  Was adding a large caliber gun to apcs (to make IFVs) worth the squeeze when it comes to a combined arms team?
