Maybe its just me, but I wonder why a bigger deal was never made of how absolutely batshit STUPID this was. If you wanted human trials just send scientist to the two nuked Japanese cities and talk to survivors, determine their distance and then track them to see how badly cancer ravaged them. We talk about how inhumane big business, the military industrial complex and other entities are but science is often left out. Why? Because they always hide behind the "greater good" meme.
