Is the AMPV-30 an undercover Bradley replacement?

Is the Army pushing the AMPV-30 as a Bradley replacement? If they are then why the XM-30 competition? Has the AMPV even trialed with the 50mm cannon? Don't get me wrong it makes nothing but sense but the skullduggery behind it is kinda weird.

The Army publicly is stating that the AMPV is a M113 replacement while the XM-30 is all about the Bradley but think about the "concept" behind such a move (much like the USMC testing whether the ACV could also serve in the ARV role).  Shared logistics across a whole fleet of vehicles as well as training to maintain.

A huge buy that just this program could push down costs because of its size alone.

All that before you even get to potential overseas sales.

The reality I'm seeing?  With budget constraints likely, with the burden of replenishing missile stocks, and modernization across not only weapons but munitions AND aircraft, the Army's gonna be in a pinch and cost savings might be a thing they HAVE to do.
