So you still think that arming CURRENT teachers against school shooting is a good idea?

When I was in school arming teachers would have worked. But I come from a time when dudes had shotguns in the back window of their trucks and the schools would empty out for deer season. My point? Teachers have changed. If you've looked at the posts they put up then you know that arming the current group of teachers is a foolish idea.

If a school district doesn't have SRO's then I really need would prefer that they hired...yeah...Veterans or retired Law Enforcement.

Carefully screened of course.  Have a physical standard they maintain.  And a solid background check.

That is the answer.  Not arming the current crop of school teachers.
