The US has a responsibility to warn of terror attacks in ANY country (at least in my mind) but I have to wonder what group would be planning such an attack. Of course my mind immediately goes to Ukraine but then why would we warn? Then I think that Ukraine might be using Islamic "cut outs" to achieve plausible deniability. Which brings me back to the circle of ... then why would we warn? I just don't know what to think. Could be that its just radicals. Regardless we're still stuck in the land of mirrors and the public will learn in a few years or never. The US warned Russia of a terror attack in Moscow. Russia shut down a palace. The US Embassy went public and named the site: "a credible threat of a mass casualty event" at the Tsaritsyno Museum Reserve. One palace. One street address. One day. Then the FSB told TASS it got the information from the US: a terror attack being prepared in Moscow. "We are taking appropriate action." Russian news agency RIA says the museum and park are temporarily closed and access is restricted. TASS says the reason is "operational measures." Guards told a reporter it was "technical reasons." Now look at March 2024. The same embassy warned of plans to hit large gatherings in Moscow, concerts included. Putin said Western warnings "resemble outright blackmail." 3 days later, 15 days after the alert, gunmen attacked the Crocus City Hall concert venue. 145 DEAD. This time the FSB says it is acting on the warning. Baza, a Russian Telegram channel close to the security services, says the site stays closed for at least 2 days. The day in the alert is now over in Moscow. No attack has been reported so far. No suspect has been named. Share this. Everyone should know about it.
