President Trump and the Republican party suffered a tremendous setback yesterday.
It all boils down to one thing.
The war against Iran.
If he had done what he said. GO IN, BOMB IRAN TO DESTROY THE NUKES AND GET OUT THEN HE WOULD HAVE BEEN CHEERED ON!
But he didn't do that. He didn't follow his instincts and followed flawed advice. Netanyahu got the US to do what he has done. Begin a war with no clear end game.
Don't blame the SecDef. Don't blame his excellent Vice President Vance. Trump needs to look in the mirror and blame himself.
He has two years to get his act together. This is a loss he has to accept and needs to dust himself off and get the rest of his term on solid footing.
