 The US is heavily divided.  Trans issue, climate issues, crime issues...just all kinds of stuff divides us.

Now you have a former President that has been hounded since he took office is being prosecuted by the DOJ?

The news media keeps talking about the political ramifications of this but the social side is what has my attention.

You think this nation is divided?  Its about to be on tren (if you don't know its the most powerful steroid I know of).

Could this have happened at a worst time?  I don't think so.

Why does it seem that we keep getting hit with triviality (be honest, Hillary DESTROYED a server with documents, Biden as a Senator had shit in his garage and Pence along with others had stuff too...wonder how many other current/former congress people have stuff they shouldn't) and an apparently different standards of justice (we all know what that's about, justice is about money and connections).

Meanwhile guess what?

Everyone else including China is taking care of business while we're once again distracted by bread and circuses.


Side note.  How do you jail a former President?  The Bureau Of Prisons must be shitting a brick.  No way in hell they have policies and procedures to handle some shit like this.  Does the secret service go into prison with him?  How do you guarantee his safety when prisoners are cooking food?  I've heard stories of them grinding up bottles to put in salt so that they could take out ONE guy that wronged them or to satisfy a hit.  No way they can do it and this whole thing is a shit show made for history (it won't go like they think) and to rile up the Dems.

The Marine Corps is generational screwed. This budget plan will have the US Navy down to 19 amphibs by 2041

Just plain wow. The Navy (the service HQMC is fighting tooth and nail to integrate with) is pushing a plan to get amphibs down to 19 ships by 2041. Berger opened Pandora's box with the push down to 31 and now the bean counters have pounced. All those years of demanding ships, getting them and changing doctrine so that they were basically useless didn't help either. The Marine Corps might not exist by 2050. Certainly won't exist in any form that we can recognize. If it does live it'll probably be more like the Royal Marines than what is the USMC until recently. This whole group of change agents have fucked the nation and the Corps. I hope they're happy.

Wow! Russian readers of this blog hinted at this new tactic, but this Twitter thread explains it in full...

Air Defense has to move forward to protect its breakthrough force, yet the ADA is being targeted. If they don't defend the breakthrough force then those units are obliterated. Interesting. One other thing though. When you have a counteroffensive in the modern era that is measured in a few hundred meters then in the modern context that offensive is FEEBLE! They haven't even reached Russia's main defensive belt yet!

WTF! Russia has African volunteers fighting in Ukraine?

The colorization is terrible. What would be worse is for this guy to be captured by Azov. Stripped T-Shirt once meant (I believe) an elite unit. Can't see that so what gives? This is curious to me. We know Russia is big in Africa but I did not know they were recruiting down there. Anyone have info and on how many they have serving. Yeah I know. It's always about money so how much are they offering for how long service?

If Shoigu tries to take over Wagner PMC, Shoigu will die....Prigozhin is a mad lad!

 This is crazy.  Its like the CEO of Triple Canopy telling the US SecDef that in a time of national emergency he can't take over the company but goes one step further and says he will die if he tries.

This is the kind of statement that will get me visiting you at your house in the early morning hours with nothing but ill intent.

Prig is a mad lad!  Either this dude needs an intervention or he needs to shut his mouth and prepare to do some damage, i.e. send some men over to Shoigu's home in the early morning hours.

Ukrainians haven't even reached Russia's main defensive lines? This is the best summary of operations yet...

 NEWS UPDATE VREMIVKA SALIENT EVENING JUNE 12

First Ukrainian gains and then some areas retaken by Russian forces. There has been hard battles all day long on the Vremivka SALIENT. First we had the usual Ukrainian night offensive and then the counteroffensive by Russian 127th Division.


During the early morning Ukrainian forces took control of Novodarivka (1) and the third settlement in the Mokri Yali River valley, Storozheve. Later on during the day the main part of the fourth valley settlement Makarivka (3), came under Ukrainian control. 


At noon Russian 127th Division started a major counteroffensive. Mainly towards Makarivka, but also towards Storozheve on the left flank and north of Urozhaine on the right flank. Minor offensive operations was also made in the vicinity of Levadne (3) and Novodarivka (1). The russian counteroffensive was supported by massive artillery and air bombardments.


As a result of the Russian attack and the bombardment, Ukrainian forces retreated from (the farm) Levadne and Russian forces retook it. Ukrainian forces has avoided taking control of Novodarivka so it's again in the green (contested) zone. The Ukrainian forces has also been driven to the northern outskirts of Makarivka. Russian attacks are ongoing.


The aim of the Russian forces are not to reclaim all the lost settlements, but to retake Makarivka and the Russian defences west of Storozheve. By doing this they secure the only supplyroad to Rivnopil (4) and the northern defences (red line). If that supplyroad is cut the Russians must withdraw from that defenceline 4 km to the south to a new defenceline (white line). That wouldn't be catastrophic, but RuAF want to hold the forward defenceline (red shaded) as long as possible, to increase Ukrainian losses. To hold the northern line the western flank also must be secure. That's the reason why Russians forces spend so much energy on  Levadne and Novodarivka.


In general the entire Vremivka salient is hard to defend, since there are few supplyroads. Several of the roads are also dirtroads (yellow) and barely usable in bad weather.  The main supplyroads (purple) in the east are situated outside the defenceline in the north. Blahodatne  doesn't even have any direct contact with neighbouring settlements. Ukrainian forces don't have to take the salient. It would be enough to cut the supplyroads on the eastern and western side to force the RuAF to withdraw from the entire salient. Instead the UkrAF has spent lot of energy with frontal assaults on the northern part of the salient with heavy losses (picture 3).


RuAF wants to keep the Ukrainians away from their main defencelines as long as possible, so that most of the Ukrainian forces are spent when they reach the main defences. On picture 4 you'll see that the first Russian major defences (black dots) are more than 10 km to the south and the first (of two) main defenceline are more than 15 km to the south.

Et Tu Dubai?

Thanks to Duke 7 for the link! Wow. Washington we might have a problem. The Middle East has turned towards Russia and China in a big way. Seemingly more towards Russia. Africa is contested between all the major powers. S. America is starting to look like a Chinese playground. The only other "power" that isn't aligned is INDIA and they seem to be keeping all sides at a distance. Europe, Japan, S. Korea and Austalia might be with us. But the rest of the world? They seem to be turning away. We have to do better.

This is the ultimate proof that the offensive is going badly. The US will allocate a new 325 million dollar aid package tomorrow to Ukraine.
