Put eyes on Iraq. Security Forces now using live rounds openly on protesters...

This is another hot spot I've been monitoring but haven't commented on.  Quite honestly it seemed...artificial to me.  It certainly didn't have the worldwide implications of Hong Kong.

That might be changing.

Like I said I've been monitoring this event and while Security Forces have been accused of crossing the lines...using a bit more force than ordinary, things appear to be taking a huge turn toward the terrible.

They're openly using live rounds.

250 have been killed and for the most part these are undeniably peaceful protesters.

This almost looks like the prelude to intense sectarian violence.  If that happens then you know this thing could crumble in a New York second.

This bears watching.

Queens, NY residents upset over the appearance of an "armored vehicle" in their neighborhood...

Geez.

Don't get it.  An illegal immigrant had illegal weapons at his home and ICE agents conducted a raid.

Did they really think they'd show up in blue jeans and a t-shirt?

Much ado about nothing (IMO).

If I had illegal machine guns then I kinda figure the Feds/State Police/Sheriff's Dept SWAT and a bunch of others would be storming my doorway with a couple of real deal MRAPs (that's what's used around here, not BearCats) filling the street.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

Many thanks to Rob Lee's Twitter Page for the pics!  Note.  This dude has the best open source info on Russian projects that I've seen.  Don't know for sure but I'd bet body parts the boys at Langley, Army/Navy/USMC intel are following him so you should too!

Nice to see Patria fully engaging now in the marketing of their vehicle opposite the formidable Protolab.

Don't know about you but I'm watching this competition with great interest!

Israeli "David's Sling" Advanced Surface to Air Missile falls into Russian hands...

via Israel National News.
An advanced Israeli missile has been captured by the Russian army and taken back to Russia for study, according to reports from Russian and Chinese media outlets.

The reports claim that a “David’s Sling” type surface-to-air missile, which Israel fired last July to intercept two Syrian missiles fired at Israeli territory, was located by Russian military forces after it failed to detonate.

The missile, having failed to intercept its target, landed in Syrian territory, and was eventually recovered by the Russian army, which barred publication of the missile’s discovery and recovery at the time.

After the missile was retrieved and neutralized, it was shipped to Russia, to give Russian engineers an opportunity to study the advanced Israeli weapon up close.
Story here.

Shit happens but this is terrible.  Could it be an elaborate deception?  Probably wishful thinking on my part.  Something tells me the S-400 is about to get just a bit more deadly.

Have you watched the "Extension Rebellion" protests in the UK?

Have you been watching the gobfest of weirdness?  I have and I never knew so many looney tunes lived in the UK!

It's been rather lowkey (but caused much annoyance on the part of the public that owns motor vehicles) but the masses are generally not happy AND from what I've seen the protests haven't spread.

I fully expected to see this madness migrate to the US and show up in the usual places but much to my surprise it hasn't.

I wonder why that is?  I thought this would be a climate change activists rallying cry.

MTS SWOLLY works! Public service announcement!

I've been on a weird fitness journey.  At the beginning I'd take any and everything.

Then I pared it down and went with "bro science".

Now?

Now I've pared down on even the bro science and need a bit of scientific evidence that what goes into my body will actually work.

This left my supplement cabinet pretty thin.  Protein, selected pre-workouts (to get me going) and that was about it.

I just added SWOLLY to the mix...and maybe you should consider it too.

What was my attraction?

It is a "protein amplifier".  My issue was post workout soreness.  Shift work gets long, sometimes sleep is limited and since I'm trying to get after it on a regular bases I need my protein to deliver to preserve my gains and to even help me with growth.

SWOLLY delivers.  Even better?  It's ingredients are scientifically proven to deliver so the growth, lack of soreness etc...are beyond a placebo effect.

Give it a try, the price is right and on this one I know what I'm talking about. Tell the dude at Tiger Fitness I sent ya!

This is one heckuva cold front!

One regret I have about General Dynamics is that they weren't more forward leaning with regard to the ACV program.  I'm not sure they put their best punch into winning the contest and I think it was a missed opportunity.

I do like the rest of their portfolio and I know they'll continue to be a player and work closely with the Marine Corps.

Don't get me wrong.

I'm more than pleased with our steed going forward and believe that the BAE/IVECO team gave us an outstanding ride.

But competition breeds excellence.

Improvements will/must be made to the vehicle in the future.

And with that being the case I want many shoulders pushing to cross the goal line...not only BAE/IVECO but General Dynamics too.
