I'm looking at those fuel tanks and thinking to myself that alone is a pretty heavy loadout. Then you add the self defense missiles, the attack ordnance, targeting pod and you're looking at a real hefty load.

From reports I've read its fast, agile and has decent range. Is this the least talked about, most underrated airplane flying today?

Not many talk about the Rafale but it looks like a winner to me.

I know the AT4 is probably empty (can't be sure but it would be insane if it was live). The rest of the weapons? It don't matter.

This is alienating fellow gun rights supporters. Correction. It's alienating me! I just can't wrap my head around why anyone would want to do this. From my chair its borderline insane.

If you disagree then simply tell me why I'm wrong. Help me understand the want or need to do these public displays.

Do you see the blurred sections? The Chinese usually don't do that on released pics. I imagine its pretty easy to ensure that you don't have classified items/sites in the background.

This time they didn't.

What don't they want us to see? Utah Bob talks about their version of our National Training Center (been digging into that too...the Chinese are getting real real real big on maneuver warfare!) but I can't imagine that they're trying to block buildings to monitor exercises.

Any guesses?
