This is really no big deal.  I can get agitating about what is and isn't considered an essential business (gyms closed but liquor stores open???  churches closed but abortion clinics open???) but wearing a mask is some real low hanging fruit and IN MY OPINION pretty weak shit to get pissed about.

What do you think?  This is an issue cause whether we want to admit it, phase 2 of this thing is gonna hit.  My advice?  Stock up on essentials now (assuming you haven't).  Make note of what is and isn't in your stockpile and adjust accordingly.

The protesters better be careful.  The Communist Govt has shown great restraint up to this point but they're being pushed hard.  The reality is that now would be a great time to go full bore on the protesters.  The Communist Chinese can claim they're attempting to enforce quarantine rules (we've seen US police do the same in various cities).  They can claim that they're simply restoring order (even to my Western eyes this seems out of control).  Finally no one is really paying attention at this moment because everyone is caught up in their own personal, national drama.

Am I gonna hyper focus on this issue?  Nah.  Too much going on in too many places.  Will I cut a side glance at it every now and then?  You bet your ass. 

Before summer is over Hong Kong will fall.

Note.  One thing we CAN give China credit for (at least as far as someone who only deals in open source material) is the fact that they are "open" with some of their activities.  If you recall the US Dept Of Defense made the call to Russia (who is also being open in the same way) and China to be more forthcoming with their defense developments. That openness has caused me much consternation and concern at how fast they've caught up.  How did the Commandant state it?  "China is the pacing threat".

Didn't want to wade into these waters but....Biden says 'you ain't black' if torn between him and Trump

Wow.  I didn't want to wade into these waters but this is over the top.  He might as well just call me the "N" word and be done with it.

This is crazy on the plate.

His whole demeanor on this interview was just off.  HE SEEMED OFF!  I can't put my finger on it but it's almost like he was trying to be phony tough for no reason.

Trump is an embarrassment but at least his instincts are right. Biden is something else entirely.

This will be a decision this fall but I'm certainly not leaning toward Biden. This is borderline campaign wrecking despite all the efforts to clean it up.  I can't speak for others but this thing ain't gonna be the easy win that the Biden folks hoped for.
