Royal Air Force Joint Air Delivery Test and Evaluation Unit doing work with the AN-124
Note. It's rather interesting that the USAF hasn't "cashed in" on the outsized transport business. I know it wouldn't be an everyday thing but I imagine they could make a good bit of changing using those massive C-5's to handle stuff too big for normal transport but not quite big enough for the AN-124. I imagine the "not for profit" thing plays a role but quick cash that would mirror actual missions seems like a no brainer.
Indian Army releases a teaser vid for their upcoming Independence Day...
Goosebumps 🔥🔥— Vinod DX9 (@VinodDX9) August 14, 2020

I am an Indian Army Soldier. I fight where I'm told; and I win where I fight.
Not splashing sunshine off the Indian Army but that is simple, and to the point. Plus it doesn't sound (at least to me) like it was developed at a public relations firm.
I mean seriously what was the catchphrase for the US military for the past couple of years? "Ready to fight tonight"? No declaration of victory just that we'll show up to a fight. Many show up, not all win.
Points to the Indian Army on this one. Real catchy slogan/phrase.

This video highlights just SOME of what we do.
Our capabilities are endless, and we train on tactics, techniques, and procedures, including with our partners, constantly in order to maintain readiness. @USArmy @1st_SF_Command @USASOCNews pic.twitter.com/sHSG51Pbbj
25th ID Airborne Sappers “Clear The Line”
Note. What's going on with their gear attached to the body armor? Is that some type of ensemble or something? Anyone know what its called and why they would use that when they have that much molle to utilize? Additionally (and I know I'm probably late) but SAPPER really is tab worthy huh? I know they introduced it but I thought it was something that would be in your record book not on your uniform. Is there a special push inside the Army for combat engineers (is a SAPPER a combat engineer or a totally different breed of animal?).

AMX 10 RC is powerfully armed, very mobile, amphibious and protected against small infantry weapons.

82nd Airborne Division Paratroopers execute Operation Panther Storm
How has airborne assault escaped the same scrutiny as amphibious assault? Simple. The 82nd Airborne knows that it will be hard. They know that it will only be used in extreme cases and in those cases it will be an all hands on deck type situation, especially if its against a peer opponent and against lesser foes it will be an extreme feather in the cap of combatant commanders.
Additionally they know that it's a capability that the nation MUST have.
Wish Missile Marine Corps leadership had the same strength of conviction!
France has deployed fighters to Greece! OK this is getting interesting!

Wow.
Ok. THIS IS GETTING INTERESTING. Meanwhile in other news Turkey says that history will not forgive the UAE for dealing with Israel.
The deck chairs are getting setup. What I was wrong about was how far reaching this potential conflict could spread. As things stand right now it looks like S. Europe, the Middle East and Northern Africa could all be involved in peer nation conflict.
Just wow.
FNSS ZAHA looks like a very good swimmer...

Lots of freeboard. I personally like to see that. From my chair that show appropriate buoyancy. Riding low in the water is a problem especially in anything but the calmest of seas.
On a different point I wonder what the cause of our AAV mishap was. I have no idea but wonder if old age played a role?
British Cop handling business...
Turn twitter off now, it won’t get any better than this. Love the attacking spirit, the confidence of the sweep kick and the taser snapshot on the turn. Ready to deploy anywhere in the Pacific
US Air Force's 21st Special Operations Squadron conducts flight ops aboard US Navy amphibious assault ship USS America

Ya know when you start emphasizing long range amphibious raids from the sea it would only be natural that the organization that has now built itself about being all raids all the time would pile in.
Seeing SOCOM piling aboard amphibious ships doesn't surprise me. This is their thing.
I can see a future where an entire LHA is dedicated to SOCOM for special ops missions. Possibly even an entire amphibious ready group.
By listening to the naysayers the Missile Marine's have ensured its own demise.
What comes next will shock the system. By destroying a real deal Air-Ground Combat Team we'll see the US Army piling on too. Expect to see Army tanks, artillery and missiles become part of future packages. Expect to see Marines displaced by Soldiers on some floats because of the emphasis on the Pacific.
A Middle East bound Amphibious Ready Group? Let's call it an Army Strike Brigade Expeditionary Unit (ASBEU).
Many applaud Berger. All I see is doom.

A Facebook Group called "Loaded Guns Pointed at [B]enis"..named a member that shot himself in the penis as its King..
via Vice
Back in May, we wrote about a group of gun enthusiasts who love taking pictures of loaded weapons pointed at their dicks. On a long enough timeline, one of them was inevitably going to accidentally discharge their weapon, and on Tuesday, that appears to be exactly what happened to one member in the San Diego area. Here
A member of a Facebook group dedicated to taking pictures of loaded weapons pointed at dicks finally shot himself in the balls, according to bloody pictures and video he posted on social media and the Imperial County Sheriff's Office, which confirmed the incident to Motherboard. Rather than step back and start questioning whether the practice is wise, the group made him an administrator and are now celebrating him as their king.
On August 11, a member of the group "Loaded Guns Pointed at [B]enis" posted a video of himself pointing a loaded 1911 handgun at his junk. There’s a brief pause before the gun discharges.
The original video of the man shooting himself in the balls and subsequent thread has been deleted, but members of the group captured the video and aftermath and reuploaded it.
“Hey [b]ois, I might have fucked up,” the man who shot himself in the balls wrote above a picture of his naked legs and splattered blood on the carpet of his floor. A towel is stuffed between his legs and a printed out copy of the constitution is crumpled on the edge of the photo.
The guy posted through the incident as he bled. “God’s caliber [.45] went through my scrotum, mattress, boxspring, and floor,” he wrote. Originally the man thought he’d just grazed his balls, but a subsequent hospital visit told a different story.
In the last public post from the man, he’s in a green hospital gown on a gurney. A pink mask is draped across his face and he’s pointing his finger at his crotch like a gun. “Turns out it wasn’t a graze, that round went right the fuck through me,” he posted. “What I thought were two graze wounds, turned out to be an entrance and exit wound.”
Just when you thought you'd seen and heard it all American culture jumps up and slaps the shit outta you!
This has got to be the most insane group I've ever heard of.
These members have got to be smoking crack!
This idiocy is so crazy it's borderline cool....or at least weirdly funny.
