Tulpar @ Kazakistan

Thanks to Serzeniste for the link!

That new trailer is explained...not just a trailer, not just a battery pack but so much more...

I find this very interesting.

So with the additional powerbank and storage space of the trailer we also gain increased mobility by making a 4x4 into basically a 6x6?

I like it.

Considering all the electronics hitting the battlefield and the need to power them this seems like a no brainer.

Of course the ideal solution would be to make a bunch of apps for phones so that every soldier could have a highly portable communications/call for fire solution in their pocket but since that's unlikely (along with the fact that everyone will be tracking phones) then supply dedicated systems with juice has to be done.

The new Marine Corps should be buying this for every JLTV fielded.

They missed the reality. Once the fight is on, the longer it goes, the worse it gets...

My view and only my view. Once a dude decides the fight is on then you don't have the chance to de-escalate. If you do then you go home in a body bag or to the hospital if you're lucky. Once the fight is on the fight is on. Subdue him and cuff him. Just that simple. I don't know what the hell the Brit cops were doing here but that rates a fail if I were grading.

A real rule of thumb that is proven time and time again.

The longer a fight goes on, the worse it gets ....
