Russia ain't too proud to import this bad boy and UAE is a friend. Can you imagine? All that armor heading to Ukraine and they'll be faced with swarms of the Iranian drones, potentially this beast and whatever China can slip in thru the back door. Things aren't gonna be easy and this war won't end this year. Things are heating up and the longer this goes on the greater the potential that a NATO country will intervene and attempt to invoke Article 5 if the Russians attacks them on Ukrainian soil. I think this is gonna get real messy.1. HelioTech has unveiled a new model of the Phenom unmanned combat helicopter at IDEX 2023 in #AbuDhabi. UNFUCKING BELIEVABLE! Poland just stopped receiving Russian oil!!!
Thanks to Carlton for the link!!
via Yahoo.
Poland’s largest oil company PKN Orlen SA has unexpectedly stopped receiving oil via the Druzhba pipeline from Russia, Chief Executive Officer Daniel Obajtek said in a tweet on Saturday (SNAFU NOTE. With the terminal fires in the US and Mexico along with this you can expect gas prices to spike globally...so much for our soft landing, the Fed better get busy which means our pockets are about to get hammered).
The halt comes a day after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine reached the one-year mark. Poland has been among the staunchest backers of Kyiv, sending humanitarian aid, weapons and accepting some 1.5 million refugees. It also was the first European country to have its gas deliveries cut off by Russia in 2022, days after the start of the war.
The company didn’t give the reason for the situation. Russia’s oil-pipeline operator didn’t immediately respond to request for a comment.
Russian oil accounts for about 10% of Polish supplies after the country rushed to slash imports following the Moscow’s invasion of Ukraine. Warsaw-listed Orlen said consumers won’t be impacted by the halt, for which it said it had prepared.
Poland has repeatedly said it plans to end Russian oil imports entirely, but needed European sanctions to be able to cancel the only remaining contract with a Russian supplier.
What a load of boiled dog shit!
They needed European sanctions?
That's not even a good lie!
Story here, but now we see what's really been going on. For some reason Russia has moderated itself with regard to the sanctions and arming of Ukraine.
This war is weird.
Now do you see why I say the Russians aren't going full force? Obviously someone in Russia is trying their best to be able to patch things up after the war.
As long as you have various Nuland's in the US State Dept that won't be allowed to happen.
I don't know if this is normalizing obesity or what, but this lady needs medical help...
This is one of those rare posts where I'm not trying to slam anyone...especially this lady. But we've got a serious problem in this country with obesity. When I'm in better shape than many 20 year olds that's a SERIOUS PROBLEM! The medical issues that obesity leads to is severe. If anyone remembers the covid travesty we went thru then you know that being obese was a major factor in whether or not you'd be hospitalized or worse. This is not normal or healthy. ATV Anti-Tank Teams? Half the population in my area would sign up for this duty
If the Army made a recruiting commercial with ATVs coupled with anti-tank missiles being fired from them then half the population in my area would sign up! How effective this is I just don't know. Seeing some stuff going on over there that should NOT work but they're doing it anyway (like using helicopters to lob unguided missiles). Zelensky knows that support in America for continued support is waning...he makes a feeble threat about consequences
No more blank checks bro. We got problems here. NATO is a drain on our resources. The Europeans are lazy. They need to step up. Leadership in the world? I don't see the benefit! Time to put America first.BREAKING: Zelensky warns Americans who don't want to give more $ to Ukraine:

If Berger has to choose between the Stand In Force vs Crisis Response which do you think will get killed?
via 1945
Putting aside Berger’s reputation for innovation, he has clearly and consistently articulated the Marine Corps’ continuing leading role in crisis response. There is no evidence that either he or his Service in any way wishes to de-emphasize this defining responsibility.
That is debatable. We've seen Berger and his band of merry men talk about using the well decks of amphibs for everything except gear for forcible entry.
They've talked about everything with regard to the sea battle, nothing has been said about going from ship to objective...hell they barely talk about HA/DR.
The Pentagon seems to be aboard with that thinking too. We're seeing the US Army gobble up more and more of the "crisis response force" role and more and more the Marine Corps sitting on the sidelines.
So no.
I do not believe that Berger is at all interested in that mission.
What I do believe he's interested in is more amphibious warships.
Another few lines from the same article.
Given that the need for Marine Corps devotion to the everyday business of global crisis response today is as great as it was before great power competition re-emerged, it is illogical to assume that devotion can be pursued with an amphibious force structure less than that which was applied to the task then.
This is why the 31-ship requirement is problematic. If a 31 ship, two-hub approach required the Marine Corps to create a land-based crisis response SPMAGTF in the absence of great power competition, then its presence surely argues for force structure that not only addresses the innovative warfighting requirements of General Berger’s design, but also addresses known shortfalls in crisis response shipping.
Put another way, the Marine Corps requirement for amphibious ships must be large enough to meet the demands of global crisis response—which the post-Cold War two-hub approach did not meet—even as it evolves to meet the new mission and force structure requirements of General Berger’s force design.
What does my spider sense tell me?
Berger will probably get his Landing Ship Medium (LSM...formerly LAW) but will lose in the process.
Berger will lose big amphibs (I'm guessing down to probably 26 or 27) which will add to the idea that the Marine Corps is a one region, one fight force.
Horrific incident but the Marine Corps is gonna take a pounding on this one....COME ON STAFF NCO YOU GOT TO BE BETTER THAN THIS!!!
Watch the video. Don't know what duty this guys is pulling but he's wearing a Marine Corps uniform and was SLOW AS FUCK to act. Should he be expected to? You damn right! He's wearing the uniform. U.S. plans to more than quadruple the number of troops stationed in Taiwan. YEAH! Keep poking that dragon!
Provocative. I hope the Joint Force is ready. I once said it would be better to have killed China in the crib than to let it grow up into the monster it is now. Seems like someone has made the calculation to deal with the monster now. I guess that makes sense. We wait much longer and conventional warfare will be off the table. They will reach the point to where they will win without fighting.JUST IN - U.S. plans to more than quadruple the number of troops stationed in Taiwan in the coming months — WSJ
