Brazillian Marines join the fighting in the city slums.

"We have no deadline to stop operations. We're going to continue giving logistical support ... to transport police troops for as long as needed," said Colonel Carlos Chagas, commander of the Marine logistics battalion.

    Sadly, this is a likely future for America. We are increasingly becoming a Latin America style country. Huge income disparities, and a socialist political class that thrives on that resentment and violence. I won't be shocked at all to read a similar story about LA slums in 2025.
