F-35 final development jet.

A Lockheed Martin F-35A Lightning II stealth fighter comes in for a landing at Edwards AFB, Calif., Saturday, Jan. 22, after a 3.2-hour ferry flight from Fort Worth, Texas.

  1. BTW: On the 20th, Jon Beesley, LM's F-35 Chief Test Pilot, was the first pilot to land the F-35B vertically who was not a trained and experienced Harrier pilot.
