Tracking info on the USAF isn't as easy as with the other services for some reason. I wonder why that is? If anyone has sites that would provide info on them (and I mean straight from a PAO's mouth) I'd appreciate it.
just my opinion but one my favorite pieces of hardware the military has is the B52. we have more stealthier, faster aircraft, and its not as survivable as the B2 or B1 or fighters, but you must respect an airframe which has been constantly upgraded and in continuous service for nearly 60 years and is projected to last another 30-40 years. its payload and distance are unmatched, she may not be the youngest girl at the ball but that aircraft has and continues to serve the nation well.
