If you know, then tell me!

I need an answer to two questions.

1.  Why do I see this Sgt Of Marines sporting an Army bayonet on his weapon?  The Marine Corps has its own bayonet and yet it isn't issued to this guy.  Is the supply chain that slow...fractured...jacked up or does the Air Wing roll with different gear?

2.  Whats the deal with P-Mags?  Are they allowed or not?

If you know what gives then hit me up in the comments section or by e-mail.

  1. Sol even back when I was in the grunts the AirWingers always had the craziest non issue straight out of us Calvary gear. Probably because they don't hump it arround or they have one field op a year. I remember when I did JOTC in Oki they had some Airwinger guys doing the land nav course with woodland berets.

  2. you're right and i've seen the same...but i was hoping that my old legacy views of the air wing were just that.

    legacy views.

i'm not going to bitch or raise a stink but i can't ever remember running a bayonet course in soft cover and carriers...no, it was always helmets and flak jackets. i'm gonna send a note to there public relations and see what the deal is.
