A very good read, the interview with Col. Ripley. He has the viewpoint of someone who's been there, and the brutality of war. He is correct, I for one would not want my daughter in a combat role. Hell I don't want my sons there either, having said that, I know my sons would do better at it because of their aggressive by nature attitude. It's just the way it is.
