  2. i agree with the killings, but don't think the video's should ever be released, we don't need to sink to there level.

    1. its combat. is it any different from them planting 500 pound bombs to take out MRAP ambulances transporting our injured? no moral equivalency, just an acknowledgement that if you have a capability you will use it.

    2. wasn't referring to weaponry, or anything of the nature, just in releasing kill videos.

kill them anyway you can, even, the infamous rodent butt bomb!!!

  3. I can't stop wondering, one day US troops will be facing the sudden death from sky scenario. Armed UAV and FLIR/laser targeting are not that so leading edge anymore.
The Chinese can certainly duplicate the similar hunter killer capability. That’s why maintaining air superiority is so vital. I don’t want my kid joined military and get whacked in this horrendous way.

    1. those didn't appear to be weapons that would be carried on a UAV. looked more like a chain gun from a helicopter gunship...although the last gif looked to be something bigger...maybe a USAF Spooky (or whatever they're calling the AC-130)

  4. My point is if we ever lose the control over air, this is exactly what will happen to our guys on the ground. Maintaining air superiority has to be #1 priority. Because of our magnificent air force, people tend to believe air dominance is a god given right...

    1. and what happens when you have air power but can't exploit it because your ground forces are too weak to take advantage of the situation? a balance must be struck or wars will be lost.

  5. Is that the guy's arm tumbling away in the last Vid? Brutal. Talk about 'Death from Above' I wonder how the 72 virgins will look upon a one-armed 'martyr?'
