JLTV. Is it about to be canceled?

What joint vehicle has escaped discussion in the past week?

The JLTV.

Amos signalled that the Marine Corps would make do with vehicle RESETs and that the programs he had to protect was the F-35 and eventually the ACV.  Did we just get a signal that the JLTV is about to canned?   I  think so.  The Army Chief of Staff hasn't mentioned it lately either and considering that the vehicles in the comp just conducted a demonstration for the JLTV program office the lack of comment is noteworthy.

  1. Haven't you heard? No sacrifice is too great for the F-35, according to our leadership and congress.

    1. I guess you're one of those okay with veterans benefits being sacrificed too?

  2. I have said it before and I will say it again.

The JLTV only took so long to get into production because the military kept changing the specs.

In the current version it is basically equivalent to the upgraded HMMWV that is coming out with the Granite capsule. Only i would be that the JLTV is going to be a superior overall vehicle because it is clean design vehicle not one that is stuck reusing parts from the 1980s.

I think canceling the JLTV is a mistake and I would like to have this vehicle.
