They're throwing a party at the Bundy Ranch and liberal news media is in a tizzy this week over the incident and the fact that conservative, survival, prepping, oath keepers and militia sites are cheering the win.
But the party.
I don't get it. Are they not thinking? You can bet that the FBI, ATF, BLM and probably but I hope not, US Marshals are all scouring the internet, going over communication recordings, going over vehicle license plates and gathering info on every person that was at the confrontation...and now at this party.
I'm not a secret squirrel type person but they're making it too easy for their organizations to be penetrated and compromised. Additionally you can bet that they won't risk an agent to do it either. They're going to stack charges on some trusted member of each group, and then make him a deal he can't refuse. Sorta like 75 years in prison, your family impoverished (from all your property being seized) or you turn government informant.
Geez. This is too easy for the feds. The way this is going down it won't even be a contest. I've wondered why no one has been arrested and now its obvious. They're gathering intel.

Well Sol, what you expect ? Group of amateurs ver. professionals. Those dudes probably think they win the war but that was only a small skirmish.
ReplyDeleteWait until it cools down and everyone goes home. Then wait a little longer when everyone is back into their daily lives then set the trap. Remember the Feds are not locals. Locals have limited time and resources, but the Feds can drag out investigations for years.
ReplyDeleteya know the more i chew on this the more i think this has turned into a multi-agency task force kinda thing that will seek to absolutely crush the militia movement but more specifically the sovereign citizen movement.
Deletei did a little research and those are some really really bad guys. not the moderates but the radicals in that movement will shoot on sight law enforcement...and while i think over reach has occured on the part of LEOs thats a step too far.
i can see this thing happening like you said. stretching out to a year and then BAM! 500 arrests nationwide, so many guns seized that you need a couple of 18 wheelers and the movement utterly crushed.
what gets me is that i'm no smarter than the guys that are zooming out to the party and in defense of Bundy, so why aren't they considering all this?
They hit their breaking point. Like we have both said by all accounts Bundy is breaking the law, but they don't care even after they hear the facts. They are just fed up and pissed. The bad part is know one sees clearly when they are made and in the middle of it.
DeleteYeah the sovereign citizen movement is different than most others. They constantly look for ways to find out first responders addresses, put liens on their property, and like you said once they hit a certain point they shoot without provocation. I think they do have some moderates in the group, but it draws in the nuts. Also unlike criminal organizations that look at dealings with the police more like an occupational hazard the sovereigns take encounters personally.
