The German firearms maker, Armatex, has been trying to peddle its "smart gun" in the US but has had trouble finding sellers.
They tried in California but the gun owner was talked back off the brink but they found a new patsy in Engage Armament.
Liberals were gleeful! They finally were going to get a smart gun on the market and kill the firearms industry. Well that didn't last long because gun owners and 2nd Amendment supporters went ape! The above video is him backing off.
I won't post the numerous links but if you Google smart gun controversy or Engage Armament you'll find plenty. Also, if you can stomach it, Chris Hayes on MSNBC had a special cry fest on his Monday show.
Sidenote: If the liberals really want these smart guns in the US then NYPD, LAPD or someother big city department should just buy them. But LEOs won't go for it because these guns are pure dee bullshit.
Lets see Glock has few parts and reliable, Smartgun probably has more parts and some type of computer chip. It takes long enough to reload with a new mag let alone reboot the damn thing in a gun fight.
