What's the naming convention? I thought the only US vessels that were named after politicians were the flattops?
ReplyDeleteTo be nomitated for the Nobel Peace prize you need to be a megalomaniac freak bent on sending your country to the crapper, you know: Obama, Carter, Hitler, Castro. I dont know if a gun control advocate qualifies as that?

This is going to be deployed to the Far East, where every Asian country already nervous about China is going to see the USS Political Animal paraded in front of them. They'll look at it and ask "Is the US really serious about the Pacific?" "Why did they assign a ship named after a politician here? One shot in the head much less."
