Politics Talk. The New York Times Op-Ed proves that America is run by bureaucrats, not elected officials.

By now you've heard about the NY Times op-ed.  But have you considered the implications?  Check out this passage and just think...
The dilemma — which he does not fully grasp — is that many of the senior officials in his own administration are working diligently from within to frustrate parts of his agenda and his worst inclinations.

I would know. I am one of them.

To be clear, ours is not the popular “resistance” of the left. We want the administration to succeed and think that many of its policies have already made America safer and more prosperous.

But we believe our first duty is to this country, and the president continues to act in a manner that is detrimental to the health of our republic.
Here.

THINK ABOUT THE HIGHLIGHTED PORTION!

Someone in the President's circle is working to frustrate his agenda.  The rest is just idiot chest thumping.  The part where they state they are not the popular resistance of the left is nonsense.  This person is working toward the same goals as that group.

Additionally this person has taken it upon themselves to thwart the will of the people and THEY PERSONALLY will decide what is in the best interests of the country.

Not a politicians that we can vote in or out.

Not govt workers that can be fired for cause.

But an appointee that is working in secret.

Now let me hit you with this.  What if there is not one but one thousand such individuals scattered throughout our govt.  What if they're in the highest ranking positions and we could NEVER know who they are.

Sorta sounds like a shadow govt doesn't it?

The swamp is deep and I think they just educated us all.  I don't know what our REAL form of govt is but it isn't what is taught in schools.
