The above pics are from BMASHINE Tumblr Page. I've been downloading alot of his stuff lately because Tumblr is about to have a porn apocalypse. You say no big deal? Well the problem is that with these types of bans the "military" side of the house always takes a hit.
So what does this mean? If it's historical or someone labels a pic as "armor porn", "aviation porn" or "firearms porn", its gonna get hit by the new bots and it'll be gone forever.
The way that Tumblr works many people have thousands of pics up so relabeling them all is just not practical.
Back to the pic set.
I think it's important because so many believe that armor ....
(1) Played no role in the Pacific during WW2.
(2) Armor will play no role in future fights there.
I disagree with number 2 and number 1 is demonstrably false.
