Everyone forgets but just a few years ago General Dynamics European Land Systems still listed this vehicle as part of their portfolio. It's a shame it was thrown away. With the move back to light tanks this would have been a winner in the current times. Even if the design remained the same but they simply updated the electronics I think it would be a shoo-in to win many competitions. Light, heavy hitting and capable of easy ship/air transport? I don't think many of the IFV turned light tanks would be able to compete with it.
