With no word on his whereabouts from ANY source can we assume this Marine volunteer to Ukraine is KIA?

Is it going too far to assume that this Marine has been KIA? 

I monitor quite a few Russian websites, follow several people that cover the Ukraine/Russia war and have at least a couple of Russian readers on this blog yet we have seen nothing. With the two others we had that news before the rest of the media. Hope is not high that this man has survived.
