Global Strike’s MH-139 1st photo release

Wow...Sweden?

I knew they had biker gangs but this?  Just wow.  It's been MANY years since I was last in Europe but it sure seems like a totally different place now.  If this is Sweden then screw going to Manheim (a favorite of mine), Amsterdam (no I didn't smoke weed) or any of the other once (at least to me...mostly hamlets) cool places.

Note.  I know this can be viewed by some as a "dog whistle" report and will most assuredly point to RT saying that its seeking to spread disinformation. Nope.  I followed the link to the original article which Google Translate did the job on (here) and yeah It ain't good in Sweden right now.

Oh and keep your comments in the center lane.  I've learned that shit like this can be inflammatory and I'm not wanting to deal with that today.

Spanish Army Special Ops Command practices small boat helicopter boarding (?)...

First.  What is this called when you drive a boat onboard a helicopter like this?

Second.  I've seen this done several times (mostly by Army Rangers for some weird reason) but is it actually practical?

Last.  I've seen it done but never do I seen supporting aircraft like attack helicopters, A-10's etc...Why is that?

Belgian Forces & Tropical Storm 2019 in Gabon...

The jungle is a nasty place.  Murky water, everything crawls, you can't get dry, everything stings...sucks...sucks bad man...

Milrem Robotics...Customer relations = OVERPOWERED!

The Chief of Defence of the French armed forces General Francois Lecointre visited the Estonian unit deployed to Mali and got the chance to operate our THeMIS UGV used by the Estonians during Operation Barkhane.

Gotta give the bubbas at Milrem Robotics credit.  Their customer relations equal overpowered!  How they got their system into an ongoing operation is pretty impressive (still trying to figure that one out), but then to turn around and have a soldier (I'm assuming its a soldier and not a service rep) to control/drive the darn thing is next level.

What are we missing?

Is the concept viable?   How hard is maintenance to perform in the field?  Do soldiers like it?  Is it cost effective versus a simple UTV?

Monday Funny....

Israeli Defense Force announced an exercise and now this guy is claiming the potential for war with Turkey?

Don't quite get this.  I know the Turks expelled an Israeli research vessel from disputed waters...I know the IDF wasn't pleased and have been running exercises with captive anti-ship missiles targeting Turk warships but this Tweet takes it to a whole new level.

The kicker?  The IDF announced an exercise for today and Turk warships are still puttering around those disputed waters.

Flashpoint...Violent protests in Delhi, India...

China is building so many ships that the number under construction is larger than the British Navy Destroyer Force...

We are Germany WW2.

We can't match the quantity of serviceable ships that China possesses so we must search for a technological breakthrough.

Will it come?

It didn't for the Germans.
