Coronavirus is in Israel..that means its certainly in Syria...I'm calling it. This is a pandemic...
#BREAKING Israel confirms first case of new coronavirus pic.twitter.com/T1qK9rUzgx— AFP news agency (@AFP) February 21, 2020
Ok. Now I think its time to buckle up for a rough ride. The Coronavirus is in Israel and that I beleive means its almost certainly in Syria...which means its gonna hit Turkey, Southern Europe in a rough way, spread all over the Middle East and then play HOLY HELL in Africa and India.
This is a pandemic.
I'm early but I believe I'm right.
This thing is global. How hard will it hit? Gas in my area is under 2 dollars a gallon. We've heard talk about supply chain disruptions and I believe that will increase.
The real question is this. What will happen to the goods that we all need for everyday survival? Does it make sense to check preps? Should we start stockpiling before the rest of the public catches on?
Fuck yeah this is possibly alarmist, but what happens when the mainstream news media starts broadcasting this wide? Big cities will certainly be slammed and I can't help but wonder what this will do to the "just in time" supply of various items.

Why isn't this front page news???
Blast from the past...Getting sucked into a jet intake can't be fun...
#OTD in 1991, flight deck crewman John Bridges was sucked into the intake of an A-6E aboard USS Theodore Roosevelt. Incredibly, he survived because he became wedged in the engine. The flames were caused by his equipment getting pulled through the jet. pic.twitter.com/FhnugoSbNC— U.S. Naval Institute (@NavalInstitute) February 20, 2020
I'm glad this bubba survived. Getting sucked into a jet intake can't be fun. But have you noticed something? I'm not hearing of this happening too much lately. NAVAIR must have been working to clean things up on the flight deck to keep this from happening.
I'd love to see a history of how this has played out since the start of WW2. How many people have been struck by blades or sucked into intakes?
This British Para went full bore SUPERMAN on their obstacle course
The trainasium is used to assess a recruits ability to overcome fear and follow orders at a considerable height. This Joe gives a textbook example of how it should be done! Would you like to give it a try? #para #britisharmy #armyconfidence @TheParachuteReg pic.twitter.com/0C20aHZwdh— The Parachute Regiment Training Company (@Para_Training) February 21, 2020
Jesus! That's a crazy obstacle course and that bubba went full bore SUPERMAN at the end of it. WELL DONE DUDE! WELL FUCKING DONE!
Turk armor IS taking a beating in Syria...
Full video of failed Syrian Rebels attack on Government forces at village of Nayrab, west of Saraqib. The attack resulted in humiliating defeat, intense Russian airstrikes destroyed most of the rebel forces and their vehicle, including 4 TAF M60 Sabra MBTs that supported the op. pic.twitter.com/l0RMjJMyMz— Aldin 🇧🇦 (@aldin_ww) February 21, 2020
Jesus. The Russian air force is on a rampage! They're tank plinking like its cool!
Amazing.
Where is the Turk Air Force to provide cover for these armored bubbas? All that vaunted air power and they won't get into the air to kill enemy artillery and deter enemy air strikes?
I'm not a fan of the Turk govt (have no problem with their military, just their masters) but to see their forces pummeled with impunity is rather stunning.
Coronavirus is in Iran...next up will be Pakistan, Iraq and probably a bit later India. Pandemic here we come!
#Iran says #coronavirus has spread to several cities, reports two new deaths https://t.co/MpxbPRT12f— Ville Kostian (@Kostian_V) February 21, 2020
Iran won't be able to control this thing. Neither will Pakistan and Iraq. This means that Afghanistan will DEFINITELY get hit with it and down the road India.
We're headed toward a pandemic folks.
Even worse?
The other obvious countries to be hit. We can figure Libya and Egypt will be included in this hit parade so it will sweep into first Northern Africa and then the rest of that continent. In Iraq it will migrate toward Syria and you can bet that those busting at the seams refugee camps will suddenly have alot more room and be alot calmer due to people getting sick. With the snow on the ground you can also bet that transmission will be rapid and medical aid sparse.
Then onto Turkey and up the southern tip of Europe.
This thing is gonna get nasty.
Is it time to bring back US Army Triple-Capability Divisions?
View this post on InstagramA post shared by 1st Cavalry Division (@1stcavalrydivision) on
I saw this post and it stunned me. What the fuck is a "triple capability" division? A quick Google search helped me out. Head here and check out page 33 (if you're short on time...it's a great read).
Don't get me wrong.
I get it.
Company sized elements is how we've been fighting (if not smaller) for the past couple of decades if not longer. BUT we're still wrapping our heads around super power conflict and what that might look like.
Does it make sense for the US Army to circle back to triple capability divisions? Are they in essence doing that now (just weakly)?
US Navy warship now has a LASER!
The Navy just wrapped the installation of a laser weapon on a destroyer to counter incoming drones https://t.co/BUXdKqJzL3@Aviation_Intel called it back in November https://t.co/kylHXUs2Pc— Jared Keller (@jaredbkeller) February 21, 2020
I've been meaning to post on this but the US Army has been advancing laser tech and looks to be getting ready to use it for air defense.
Now we see this.
Great news! The US Navy has installed a laser on a warship? Hypersonic weapons might be rendered obsolete before they fully enter service. The potential is amazing.
Let me hit you with this what if.
What if we could build lasers to protect against ICBMs? Yeah I know. They would have to be super powerful (probably need a dedicated nuclear reactor to power them...just guessing I don't know for sure) but the amount of power could be enough to render them null and void. Yeah you would still need to deal with whatever debris comes from shooting them down but better than a surface detonation right?
Don't slam, just spitballing here. The news we have is good though. I like it!
Russian and Turkish joint patrol...definitely propaganda...
A #Russian #Turkish joint patrol was crossing in one of the #Syrian villages in Eastern Euphrates area.— Ibrahim Muhammad (@IbrahimDSY1) February 20, 2020
That was the reaction of the residents.
There is a huge difference between being invited and being an invader.#Syria ✌🏻🇸🇾❤️ pic.twitter.com/DI4p2fUnfH
This one is a bit over the top. It's obviously propaganda but still interesting. The Turks are losing friends at an amazing rate.
Who still likes them in the Middle East?
Turk vehicles destroyed in Idlib (possibly propaganda)
#Turkish army vehicles in #Neirab, #Idlib after three hours only..! We told Erdogan Syria is not northern Cyprus but he did not listen..! pic.twitter.com/kooix22Dcj— Sukhoi Su-57 Felon 🇷🇺🇮🇳 (@I30mki) February 21, 2020
Hmm. I follow this guy's Twitter page and he's usually solid but I think this could be propaganda. I'm seeing one vehicle that I know was destroyed earlier this week. Additionally I'm not sure of the mix here. I'm seeing vehicles that I know aren't operated by the Turk Army. Could he be added Turk terrorist "helpers" in with this?
