Fuchs Joint Air Ground Missile System...The WW2 German 88mm but with missiles is reborn (capable against air & ground targets)

If you don't know about the German 88 then you're missing out. Probably the best cannon in WW2. Best in this case is that I believe it was the most versatile. Below you see it operating in the anti-tank and anti-air role, which is why you got the above title to this post. Oh and it also served as the main gun on a couple of German tanks too....oh and I believe also a few ships.

We're not thankful enough...

I don't mean to put a reader out there, but Joe Cool made a post on my "sensing something bad before a bad injury (paraphrasing)" post.

If he tells me to take it down I will (don't know if the comment disappeared or he deleted it) but this is his story...

I have a disability called Osteogenesis Imperfecta, i had my 50th broken bone this summer, and thats low for my type. I cant say a broken bone is as serious as you say but depending on the area of the break an if i can get help first is to just get over the initial shock, especially if it was a fall or something, then try to get help and take stock of what hurts and what doesnt. I fell this summer late at night and live at night and had to use a broken wrist to try to get my cell phone out of my wheelchair to call 911. I was able to do it and get to the ER and got my arm realigned and now 8 weeks later i am out of the damn cast.

Jesus.

50 broken bones?

Dude is going thru some unimaginable shit.  He's a much better man than me cause I think that would absolutely crush me.

There is no purpose to this post.  Just wanted to share what he said and to remind myself and everyone else that we're not thankful enough.

God Bless Joe Cool.  Luv ya little brother.

Charlie Kirk is dead.

Dead at 31. He was provocative. Opinionated. But I didn't see him as aggressive. What a shame. RIP.

Weird question. On your final day...or before a tragic injury do you get a sense that something is off...

Thankfully I've never had a really serious injury.  But I wonder.  Before a really serious injury or God forbid your final day, do you get a sense that something is off?

Do you get a nagging thought in the back of your head that things just ain't right?  Even if you did I'm sure most people ignore it but I just wonder if it happens.

I got many readers here that have been thru some real serious shit and if they don't mind I'd really be interested if they had an inkling that something bad was coming.

I've had the sensation that something was off (like minutes before doing things) but I never got the "oh shit this might get me seriously hurt or killed" kinda feeling.

Is that arrogance thinking I'm superman or just ignoring natural danger signals that a train was coming and I need to get off the tracks?

Graphic! Video of Charlie Kirk being shot. I don't know how he will survive....

The spray of blood is intense. Even if you acted in seconds I just don't know how he will survive this...and that's with a full trauma kit, not the stuff you carry on your duty belt.

US Army just made Tech Company CTO's as Commissioned Lt. Col's...

Don't quite know how I feel about this. We do business with these companies and now they're actually part of the US military? What about Boieng, Lockheed Martin, Northrup Grumman, BAE and the others? Did we do this during WW2? We've always had close contact with our defense industry and the military but this is kinda taking it to a new spot.

Ukraine's cabinet of ministers has reportedly been hit...

Scrub your social media! Info is on it that can be used by damn near anyone now

Sinola Cartel member captured in raid in Poland?

Hardcore stuff here. I absolutely luv it. If this doesn't mark the cartels as international terrorists then I don't know what does. Quite honestly this should be a worldwide MILITARY/LAW ENFORCEMENT EFFORT to eradicate them from the face of the earth. But lets get real. Too many powerful people make too much money off this shit so a few hundred thousand deaths a year means nothing.

Fuck me. The Israelis are actually pushing into Gaza City...

Fuck Me! This is the most batshit stupid stuff I've seen in a little while now. They're breaking their military and their economy. They appear to be incapable of pacifying even areas they so called cleared. If nothing else they're building an insurgency from hell. Simply put? Even if they "win" they lose. Just stupid. KNOW WHEN TO SAY WHEN!

Polish 18th Mechanized Division @ Żelazna Brama25 exercise

Note. I don't know how many of you are following the Polish military but something is up with them. From my chair they almost seem to be on a war footing. They're exercising their asses off. Every week it seems that you see another of their elite motorized, mechanized or armored units in the field doing shit. That's outside of the enhanced border defenses they're employing to keep immigrants out of their country (being dropped off by other EU nations).

What was old is new again...

BRIGHT STAR 25: Range maneuvers...Photos by Joseph Kumzak

Note. Same as before. Didn't know Bright Star was still a thing. Being a reservist in the Marine Corps is to be deployed as much as you were when you were on active duty. Those boys are busy.

BRIGHT STAR 25: Task Force Reaper live fire training...Photos by Joseph Kumzak

Note. Two things. I didn't know Bright Star was still a thing. Back in the day the Marine Corps once attended in mass. The second is that I didn't know they had any personnel variants of the AAV anymore. Weird seeing one in the desert again.

PLA Type 100 Support Vehicle

Note. Of all the ground vehicles put on display during China's military parade, this is the one that seems to be capturing the attention of the X verse. I find it interesting. I find it a bit intriguing. Quite honestly I think this is where armored development will ultimately go (in a lighter package though). The 105mm cannon still has legs underneath it and we've seen what even a 25mm chain gun can do to the optics, sidearmor etc...of a MBT, not to mention top attack missiles. What about drones you say? Just like the anti-tank missile threat I think we're on the cusp of every vehicle having a defense against them.

Never enough chickens? These guys took it to the limit...
