Doesn't matter. The program is too large and in too many countries to believe that any parts of foreign examples aren't completely compromised. Hopefully we have a "unique" US only spec and the rest of the nations have "degraded" models (which I believe if we're gonna sell them to Saudi Arabia). My thinking? No big deal. They probably got specs straight off Lockheed Martin's mainframe anyway.

Say it with me people. Russia is NOT going to invade NATO/Europe. Russia is ONLY after Ukraine. China will move at its own pace and at its own timetable with regard to Taiwan. Why does leadership ALWAYS try and fearmonger? Oh wait. In Germany the far right party won and is pushing to open up oil imports. I guess they have to do something when the people INSIST on doing commonsense shit!

This is just sad. A warship should be able to handle surface or air drones. To resort to this is to admit failure in ship design. Maybe the answer is to have a high caliber, rapid firing gun on every quandrant of warships. Cope cages? That's just bad juju.

We're in it now and the smartest people in Washington have no idea. The EU has displayed a hands off approach apparently believing that this wouldn't affect them They were wrong. Oh so wrong. From the Iranian side they have to be happy as hell. They have withstood a concentrated US attack, survived it and are now making the whole world suffer. For a group of proper nihillist this could'nt be going better for them.

Note. I am 100% into ancient battles now. I found a movie on the Tettenburg Forest Massacre that I'm gonna watch this weekend and now this showed up in my feed. Why didn't anyone tell me I was missing out. Escpecially on the Bronze age stuff (my favorite so far).

Why?

If Gotland island needs reinforcing then things are beyond bad.  Europe at that point is beyond screwed, nothing makes sense and the Russians have apparently teamed up with aliens from outer space.

Just like most joint exercises its useless posturing. 

Which brings up something else.

Studies have been done to determine how much flying (simulator and real) a pilot needs in order to be proficient.  I have never seen a REAL DEAL study to determine how many exercises, field days...whatever, combat arms needs in order to be proficient.

Battalion Landing Team 1/8 | Amphibious Raid

Ok. This is gonna sound crazy as hell but hear me out. Amphibious raids are a staple of Marine Corps ops. So is heliborne raids. In this day and age would it make sense to have a reinforced company of Marine Airborne to square this circle? If too expensive then should we attempt to integrate (as needed and as available - hopefully alot in testing and training) an airborne company from the 82nd/11th or 101st (I believe the 101 has a company of airborne qualified Soldiers). I think back to the Russian assault on the airport. Elite units led it BUT it was all heliborne. The slow speed of the helicopters (along with warnings from US intel agencies) gave the Ukrainians time to gather forces to repel the assault. In the Marine Corps while an amphibious raid can presumably deliver a harder punch (especially when the ACV-30 comes online), its slow...add in the missile threat and you're trying to do instream launches of ACVs from LCACs (if that's even possible). The Russian experience explains the heliborne issue. But couple some "Para" Marines (or a company from Army Airborne) deployed from MV-22s, escorted by F-35s then I think you MIGHT have the right mix to do the deed with your heliborne or amphibious assault units reinforcing or extracting those Marines/Soldiers from the drama. While raids are supposed to be short duration missions I think the Russian experience indicates that is probably no longer the case. Just my thinking. Feel free to shoot holes in it.

In 2025, Jamari Akins robbed a Family Dollar store at gunpoint. Officer was in the process of handcuffing him on the ground when Akins rolled over, pulled a gun, and fired two shots, striking Mercado in the leg. Mercado returned fire and killed Akins. 

Mercado applied a tourniquet to himself and was treated at a hospital; he survived in stable condition. Akins had a lengthy criminal record

Overblown. China has such good intel and cyber services that once we released this jet to export they have LONG been able to get everybit of info about it with a quickness. The recent spat of Chinese stealth fighters point to this obvious conclusion. All nations act in their own interest and (GOD I hate to go down this rabbit hole cause I despise it when others do it SO FUCKING MUCH), but I highly suspect that Israel seeks to remain the only operator of the F-35 in the Middle East and even the relatively peaceful Saudis (as far as Arab countries go) are still seen as a threat.
