Could USMC 2030 do what was done in the past?

The future Marine Corps wouldn't even be in theater! Face ANY future adversary? His own force design says "one region, one foe"....this is past capability that the future force won't be able to duplicate.

Houthis attack Riyadh...

Damn! That was quick. A new policy towards Saudi Arabia and almost immediately the Houthis attack. That long lasting, low grade regional war is gonna pop soon. When it does it will be NASTY!

On this day in history....ATF raids Branch Davidian compound

 via History.com

At Mount Carmel in Waco, Texas, agents of the U.S. Treasury Department’s Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF) launch a raid against the Branch Davidian compound as part of an investigation into illegal possession of firearms and explosives by the Christian cult.

As the agents attempted to penetrate the complex, gunfire erupted, beginning an extended gun battle that left four ATF agents dead and 15 wounded. Six Branch Davidians were fatally wounded, and several more were injured, including David Koresh, the cult’s founder and leader. After 45 minutes of shooting, the ATF agents withdrew, and a cease-fire was negotiated over the telephone. The operation, which involved more than 100 ATF agents, was the one of the largest ever mounted by the bureau and resulted in the highest casualties of any ATF operation.

Here

Mark my words.  We will see something like this in the near future...only on steroids.

My guess?

Some federal task force (law enforcement) will go after a militia group, white supremacists or even a gaggle of sovereign citizens (they're all penetrated either online or have snitches in the ranks anyway!) and it will be a fight that will fill a few caskets.

Waco will look like a picnic.

Public Safety Rescue Vehicle 3 (PSR3)

Rioting in the US last year resulted in damages estimated in excess of $2 Billion, affecting over 100 American cities, injuring thousands, and leading to the death of nearly two dozen people.  A new public safety vehicle is designed to address the vulnerabilities that the rioting exposed while providing complete transparency of operations required in modern policing.

The Public Safety Rescue Vehicle 3 (PSR3) developed by RUA Dynamics combines the armored protection of a SWAT vehicle, the technology systems of a command-and-control vehicle, and standalone fire suppression capabilities.

The platform is the next generation of rescue vehicles and is specifically designed for law enforcement. In sharp contrast to military vehicles that have been retrofitted for police and SWAT use, the PSR3 is a complete less-lethal vehicle system with incident response technology package included.

The vehicle has been built from the ground up to be an all-encompassing less-lethal public safety rescue vehicle designed with modern policing needs in mind, according to the company’s announcement.

The vehicle is equipped with a connected Fleet App for Command and Control.

31st MEU conducts Mark VI, CCM refueling operation

U.S. Marines with Combat Logistics Battalion 31, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) and U.S. Sailors with Naval Special Warfare Special Boat Team 12, test expeditionary refueling capabilities with a combatant craft medium boat during a refueling operation on the pier of U.S. Naval Base Guam, Feb. 21, 2021. Refueling in port is a proof-of-concept exercise that demonstrates the ability to get fuel from a non-traditional expeditionary support platform, allowing for an extended sustainment while at sea. The 31st MEU is operating aboard ships of the Amphibious Squadron 11 in the 7th fleet area of operations to enhance interoperability with allies and partners and serve as a ready response force to defend peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region. Wow.  From a first entry, door kicking force to being a support element to the fleet, SOCOM and allies.

We're not even perimeter security!  Logistics wins wars but to become uniformed UPS and Shell Gas Stations?

Just plain wow.

The New Marine Corps!
