3d Marines will become the first Marine Littoral Regiment....A Division reduces to the size of a Regiment???
***What does this mean for the Marine Corps? What's happening to the 3rd Marines will happen to all our divisions. Does this mean that our Divisions are being reduced in size to Regiments? That's pretty damn stunning. To me that means my predicted end strength of 100K is almost certain (around that size anyway). The United States Marine Corps is being reduced to 3 Regiments? The hits keep coming and the tribe remains silent.***

Afghanistan about to get "interesting"...Turkey to send Mercenaries to fight Taliban...
Just a plain weird fight. Now we see Turkey sending Syrian Mercenaries to Afghanistan to fight the Taliban? I thought they were good with Pakistan that I ASSUME (could most definitely be wrong) supported the Taliban. I really believe this was suppose to serve as a kind of back door in a fight against China but Turkey's interest in the country is just beyond me. Really curious move. Any ideas?#Turkey will send #Syrian mercenaries to #Afghanistan against the Taliban
