They missed the reality. Once the fight is on, the longer it goes, the worse it gets...

My view and only my view. Once a dude decides the fight is on then you don't have the chance to de-escalate. If you do then you go home in a body bag or to the hospital if you're lucky. Once the fight is on the fight is on. Subdue him and cuff him. Just that simple. I don't know what the hell the Brit cops were doing here but that rates a fail if I were grading.

A real rule of thumb that is proven time and time again.

The longer a fight goes on, the worse it gets ....

The medical community (and Faucci) are gonna have to come clean to get full vaccine compliance...

When you go to the gym and you hear this....

When you look at the victims of this disease (meaning those killed) and its obvious two things were at work...obesity and a co-morbidity...

When you see the media/medical establishment ignoring the reality of said facts...

And finally you have experimental vaccines then you have the ingredients of vaccine non-compliance.

It's obvious.

It makes sense.

It's to be expected.

Is there pushback from some conservatives?  You betcha.  Do I agree with any of these camps?

Not in my case.  I have an elderly father and if I can lessen the chance of him catching this thing then I will ... I took the vaccine not for me but to safeguard him.

But we're at an inflection point for the country.

More draconian rules from whatever govt entity will result in hard times for the govt entity.  The societal chaos that we've seen so far will look like a bright clear spring day.

We really can't afford more lockdowns and we can't afford to see this thing mutate.

We're in a  terrible spot and I can't come up with a solution.

Taiwan's army conducts live-fire drill to test combat readiness

Taipei, July 17 (CNA) Taiwan's Army has recently carried out a live-fire artillery drill at a training ground in Pingtung County to demonstrate the combat readiness and firepower of the armed forces.

During the exercises, armored vehicles fired rounds of live ammunition in a simulated response to an enemy invasion at the Jioupeng Military Base in Pingtung.

A Facebook video posted this week by the Army Command Headquarters showed soldiers hitting their target drones using the American-made surface-to-air Dual Mounted Stinger missiles.

The other main highlight of the exercises included the RT2000 multiple launch rocket system, which was produced by Taiwan's National Chung-Shan Institute of Science and Technology.

Shu Hsiao-huang (舒孝煌), an analyst at the government-funded Institute for National Defense and Security Research (INDSR), said the RT2000 was specifically created with the intention to attack invading enemy forces at sea.
