It's a good bird, though with typical French (overpriced) and German (over-engineered) qualities.
Back in the day there was a lot of European pressure on the Netherlands to buy the Tigre instead of the Apache. Glad we did, considering the Tigre's optimum version is only now entering service, and the Dutch AH-64s have been in service since 1998/2001...
